Typical symptoms and signs of AML-M5 are quite similar to other types of leukemia, especially in the early stages. The feeling of weakness and fatigue are quite general and may have many possible causes. Several other possible signs of AML-M5 include fever, bleeding, easy bruising, bleeding under gums or skin, bleeding disorders, shortness of breath, anemia, swollen lymph nodes, hypothyroidism, swollen ankles, reduce appetite, loss of weight, skin lumps, progressive loss of hearing, swollen eyes, and low production of urine.
