Scabies
Scabies is a contagious condition triggered by a burrowing tiny mite under your skin. It is quite like head lice and would spread quickly in nursing homes or schools, thus passing between people. The rash mostly breaks out on some parts such as between fingers, penis, armpits, waist, buttocks, elbow, and wrists. It tends to get worse and be intensely itchy at night. Scabies might mimic other skin issues such as pityriasis rose or seborrheic dermatitis. Possible treatments include topical steroids, oral histamines, or permethrin lotion or cream. [12]
