Peppermint tea
Just like clove, there are many numbing properties in peppermint that can help soothe sensitive gums and toothache. The most important component menthol, which is known for both its minty smell, flavor, and antibacterial effects. It is easy to make a cup of peppermint tea by putting one teaspoon of dried leaves in a cup of hot water, then steep it for around 15 to 20 minutes.
