Childhood Heart Issues
Some congenital childhood heart issues, such as pulmonary or anatomical heart defects, abnormalities, and valve anomalies would affect the aortic structure. This increases the risk of developing heart failure later in life. Without proper treatments, young kids with these conditions tend to suffer from congestive heart failure in several years. Heart transplantation or surgical repair is usually a therapeutic option to alleviate the excess pressure on their heart muscles. [6]
