Eye problems may occur in a special type of rosacea called ocular rosacea. It often occurs with other subtypes that affect the skin. However, it is more common in kids with other skin issues. Typical symptoms of ocular rosacea include pimples on your eyelids, swollen eyelids, bumpy eyelids, and redness on the eyelids, itchy or dry eyes, and red eyes. In rare cases, it might involve other parts of the skin, such as the ears or neck. People with light skin tend to be at a higher risk. However, those with dark skin might also develop the condition.
