Rhinophyma
Rhinophyma is another skin condition characterized by an enlarged, bumpy, or red nose. It might occur in people with rosacea because this disease thickens the nose skin over time. This causes the nose to become bulbous. Nevertheless, the exact cause of rhinophyma is still unclear. Many scientists often consider rhinophyma to be a subtype of rosacea, especially in more serious cases. It is believed to be the direct result of untreated or poorly treated cases of rosacea. Men are often more affected by this symptom than women. The age groups between 50 and 70 years old are also at higher risk. [6]
