Dark Bowel Movements
In healthy people, dark brown stools are considered a normal sign of a bowel movement. Nevertheless, non-Hodgkin lymphoma would lead to gastrointestinal bleeding. This results in dark bowel movements with dark brown poops. At the same time, other gastrointestinal issues might occur, such as belly pain, abdominal discomfort, or constipation. These signs indicate that cancer cells are spreading and obstructing some parts of the digestive system, especially the intestines. Immediate medical attention is needed to prevent more serious complications.[9]
