Constipation
Constipation could also be an early symptom of ovarian cancer. However, constipation is a regular issue faced by many people, and there can be many different causative factors for it, including stress and anxiety. Thus, most women don’t easily link constipation with ovarian cancer. In patients suffering from ovarian cancer, constipation is primarily caused by narrowing bowels and the presence of ascites. Constipation associated with ovarian cancer leads to altered bowel habits and generally cannot be relieved by any interventions. [2]
