Phosphorus is an important mineral that plays many roles in the body. These include cell reparation, tissue reparation, and waste filtering. Most phosphorus can be found in teeth and bones. We may take in sufficient phosphorus through the daily diet. Indeed, it is actually more common to have high phosphorus levels rather than low phosphorus levels. That’s why phosphorus deficiency is not common. It may only be caused by some eating disorders, poor diets, or some medical conditions, such as alcoholism, inherited disorders, or diabetes.
