Dry Skin – Symptoms & Causes

Aging

One of the most common risk factors of dry skin is aging. As we get aged, the epidermis on the skin becomes thinner over time. As a result, the stratum corneum cannot keep as many fluids as it once would. Most people tend to experience first symptoms of dry skin when they turn 50s. By the time we turn 60s, almost everyone would have some degree of this health issue. Unfortunately, age-related dry skin is unavoidable. [5]
