Alternate Nostril Breathing
This breathing technique helps control the pace by pinching a single nostril at a time. Here is how you can do it:
– Use the left thumb to block the left nostril and breathe in slowly through the right nostril while counting to six
– Use the index finger to block the right nostril and hold the breath for six seconds
– Release the left nostril and exhale through the left nostril for six seconds
– Inhale through the left nostril for six seconds
– Use the thumb to block the left nostril and hold the breath for six seconds
– Unblock the right nostril and exhale through the right nostril for six seconds
