Types of Sinusitis
The duration of infection depends on the type of sinusitis you may be having. It is classified into three groups: acute, subacute, and chronic. These different subtypes have somewhat similar symptoms, but the causes might differ widely. Prolonged cases of sinusitis are often linked to a bacterial infection or a defect in the structure of the nose.
