Rinvoq Oral: Uses, Side Effects, Interactions & More

Rinvoq for Breastfeeding and Pregnant Women

Rinvoq may do harm to developing fetuses when taken by pregnant women. Therefore, you should avoid this medication during pregnancy. In addition, try to wait at least 4 weeks after the last dose of Rinvoq to get pregnant. Because Rinvoq may pass into breast milk, avoid taking this medication when you are breastfeeding your infant. Wait at least 6 days after the last dose before breastfeeding. If you want to take Rinvoq while breastfeeding or during pregnancy, make sure to talk with your doctor to get the best advice. [11]

Alternatives to Rinvoq

Some of the medications listed above are used off-label. Make sure to consult your healthcare provider to choose the right option and get the best effects. [12]
