Irregular Heartbeats
Patients with Meniere’s disease could also experience an irregular heartbeat. This might lead to heart palpitations during a vertigo attack. The condition often occurs in later or advanced stages of the disease. The exact reason for this link is still unknown. In most cases, palpitations would return to the normal condition when a vertigo attack subsides and disappears. Irregular heartbeats could also cause some other health issues, such as shortness of breath, dizziness, or headache. [6]
