Hyperplasia
Hyperplasia is a health issue in which the lining of the uterus might be too thick. This would lead to shorter menstrual cycles and internal bleeding. The main cause of hyperplasia is the production of too much estrogen hormone in the body. If left untreated, it would even result in uterine cancer. In some mild cases, hormone therapies are enough to help women overcome the condition. However, when the symptoms get worse and develop into cancerous cells, a hysterectomy might be necessary to reduce the risks. [9]
