The symptom severity scale assesses 4 typical symptoms of fibromyalgia. These include:

– Tiredness after waking up

– Fatigue

– Somatic symptoms, such as bowel issues, fainting, nausea, dizziness, or pain

– Cognitive symptoms, such as reduced comprehension, disorientation, confusion, or difficulty focusing

Each symptom is measured on a scale from 0 to 3, based on the severity of symptoms in the last week.

– 0: no symptoms
