Common Women’s Health Issues

Unintentional Injuries

In general, most women have weaker bones and muscles than men. Their immune systems are also not as effective as men’s in fighting foreign invaders. This makes them more vulnerable to unintentional injuries after an accident, such as poisonings, falls, or vehicle collisions. Some studies have found out that many women lost their lives from falls or traffic-related accidents. Some common-sense measures would help reduce the risk, such as avoid slippery areas, labeling products with toxic chemicals, installing a carbon monoxide detector in your house, and putting on a seatbelt while driving.
