Premature Ventricular Contractions or PVC
Premature ventricular contraction is a heart condition that is characterized by extra heartbeats. It occurs when the ventricles of your heart squeeze too early. The extra beat will throw off the usual rhythm of your heart, thus making it jump, pound, and flutter in the chest. If you have a healthy heart, regular PVCs might be not a source of concern. However, you would need medical treatments when you are suffering from heart disease and feel those extra beats. [6]
