Surgery
Surgery can be suggested in more serious cases. These can be when the lesions caused by calcinosis cutis become too painful, impair the functioning or get infected more frequently. However, they can still recur after a surgical procedure. In most cases, it is recommended to start surgery with a small part of a lesion. [9]
