Anemia – Diagnosis and Treatment

2Physical Exam

If you do not know how to diagnose anemia at home, then your doctor can help you. Whether you show any symptoms or not, he or she could do a physical exam. Common abnormalities to indicate anemia include low blood pressure, postural hypotension, cold skin, bluish or pale lips or skin, tachycardia, and a weak pulse. In most cases, the results of a physical exam can be consistent with those of your self-test. Make sure to inform your doctor if there are any changes. [2]
