IgE or anti-immunoglobulin E immunotherapy is a common treatment option for allergic asthma. The main goal is to target the chemical signals which lead to the allergic responses in the first place. However, keep in mind that it is often taken when the symptoms of asthma occur persistently in moderate or serious cases and standard therapies do not work.
