8 Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Cramping & Fatigue

From the first and fourth week of pregnancy, everything occurs on a cellular level. But after this period, the blastocyst created by the fertilized egg will develop into the body parts and organs of the baby. After that, it implants in the lining of the uterus called the endometrium. This would lead to implantation bleeding that many people often mistake for a light period. Cramping or pain may be felt, ranging from mild or moderate to severe. Avoid illicit drugs, alcohol, and smoking to prevent worsening the symptoms. [2]

Women may feel tired and fatigued at any time during their pregnancy. The symptom is especially common in the early weeks. Levels of progesterone tend to increase quickly and make them feel sleepy and tired. For this reason, it is advisable to get enough sleep during the early stages of pregnancy. Try to keep the bedroom cool and comfortable as the body temperature would be higher during this period. [3]
