2Douching
Avoid washing or douching the vaginal areas with any products. When you do these tasks, especially with a product containing cleaning agents, iodine, or vinegar, it would change the normal level of PH. This leads to an overgrowth of harmful bacteria and yeast that would cause the infection. Also, douching would damage or irritate the mucous membranes and skin. Most doctors and experts do not advise to use soap for cleaning inside your vagina. Instead, just rinse with warm water the areas around your vulva during the showering time. You should also wash or shower the vagina after having sex to prevent the penetration of bacteria from your partner. [2]
