10 Types of Brain Tumors

Ganglioglioma

Gangliogliomas are often benign tumors that contain both glial cells and neurons. However, they can grow slowly and develop into grade 2 conditions from grade 1 tumors, but the number of reported cases is still very limited up to now. They are a very rare form and can be uncommon in adults. Young children and kids are at higher risk of experiencing gangliogliomas in their temporal lobes. In most cases, this form of a brain tumor can be treated with surgery, sometimes in combination with radiation therapy. [6]
