10 Symptoms of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Swelling

Painless and swollen lymph nodes can be a possible sign of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. They can grow in many body parts with lymph tissue. These include:

– Lymph nodes: These are bean-sized groups of lymphocytes and immune system cells in the pelvis, abdomen, or chest.

– Bone marrow: This is a spongy tissue in some bones, where new blood cells are produced.

– Spleen: This organ is located on the left area of the body, right under the lower ribs. It is responsible for making lymphocytes, storing healthy blood cells, and filtering out bacteria or cell waste.

Other commonly affected areas include tonsils, adenoids, thymus, and the digestive tract like intestines or stomach.[3]
