10 Symptoms of Anorexia

Dehydration

Dehydration is a harmful reduction in the amount of water present in the body. It occurs when an individual uses or loses more water than he/she takes in, leaving the body with little or no water and other fluids to go about its normal functions. A large percentage of dietary water also comes from solid foods, contrary to popular opinion that water is only gotten from liquids and semifluids. When someone restricts their food intake, they become more susceptible to dehydration. Anorexic people will experience symptoms of dehydration since they limit their food intake.[6]
