Delusions
Delusions can also be a sign of schizophrenia. These are basically irrational beliefs which usually occur as responses to a perceived danger which is entirely or largely unconfirmed by others. Delusions can be still maintained even when there is evidence that they aren’t true. They would lead to distress and make it difficult to function properly. In many cases, delusions might be bizarre. For instance, you would believe that you are a supernatural being or animal. So, whenever you find yourself believe in something beyond the normal realm of possibility, it would suggest delusions.
