Muscular Imbalance
Muscular imbalance is also a very common cause of lower back pain. It happens when the natural balance of the muscle system gets disrupted due to the overuse of some parts than others or the performance of physical activities in unnatural positions. If the abdominal muscles are weak, for instance, the lower back would take the load and cause pain by a muscular imbalance. In professional athletes, this a quite common issue as they tend to use only some muscle groups, leaving other unused or unfit. [6]
