Blood Clots
In many cases, the first sign of pancreatic cancer might be a blood clot in your large vein, mostly in the leg. This condition is also known as DVT or deep vein thrombosis. Some associated symptoms might include warmth, redness, swelling, and pain in the affected limb. Sometimes, the clot would break off and move to your lungs, making it hard to breathe normally and triggering chest pain. However, keep in mind that having blood clots don’t often mean that you suffer from pancreatic cancer. It is better to have it checked by your healthcare provider to rule out the causes. [4]
