Changes to Nails
Yes, there is something called nail psoriasis. It is not as common as plaque psoriasis, but it still affects people occasionally. Even though, it mostly affects people that have psoriatic arthritis, people with other forms of psoriasis that affect the skin area may also notice specific changes to their fingernails or toenails. Psoriasis can cause the nails to begin to loosen, discolor, or even ridged. In some cases, a person that has psoriasis may notice that his or her nails have started crumbling. [6]
