Fever
Blood clots, especially when they detach and enter your bloodstream, might cause a low-grade or mild fever. Apart from increased body temperatures, this symptom can also cause shivering, sweating, headache, diminished appetite, dehydration, and body weakness. In worse cases, fevers could lead to more serious conditions such as convulsions, confusion, mood disturbances, irritability, or hallucinations. These signs often happen when the temperature of your body settles in an extremely high range, from 39 to 41 degrees. [8]
