Who Is Eligible for Medicare Part D?
Those people who are eligible for Medicare can also be eligible for Medicare Part D. Basic conditions include:
– You are at least 65 years old.
– You are under 20 years old with a diagnosis of kidney failure or ESRD (end-stage renal disease) and have one or both parents eligible for benefits of social security.
– You get a diagnosis of kidney failure or ESRD (end-stage renal disease) and have to go through kidney or dialysis.
– You have got payments for Social Security disability for at least two years, even when this waiting phase is waived when you get a diagnosis. [5]
