Possible Side Effects of Copaxone

Taking Copaxone may lead to certain side effects. Common problems include cough, chest pain, anxiety, rash, upper body or face redness, pain or trouble urination, neck or lower back pain, joint pain, irregular heartbeat, excessive muscle tone, difficulty breathing, swollen lymph nodes, and puffy face. Some people may also experience reactions in the injection area, which causes itching, swelling, redness, or a lump. In rare cases, some less common side effects may occur. These include bloating, agitation, confusion, chills, fever, dizziness, trouble swallowing, headache, painful intercourse, muscle aches, abnormal weight changes, tight chest, and more.
