Signs and Symptoms of Psoriatic Spondylitis
Symptoms of psoriatic spondylitis are similar to other types of arthritis that affect the pelvic joints and the spine, such as reactive arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. These include tiredness, difficulty moving or bending the back, back pain, stiffness after periods of inactivity, or stiffness around the neck or back that improves with movement. These signs would lead to extreme pain and cause trouble in the daily lives. If left untreated, the inflammation caused by psoriatic spondylitis may result in long-term damage to the joints and spine. Symptoms tend to come and go.
