Itching or Redness
Another simple way to find out if you are suffering from an ear infection is to notice any itching or redness inside this part of the body. When it is itching, this might be an early symptom that you are experiencing an exterior ear infection. Also, the ear canal might become redder than usual. When the problem gets worse, the redness would become more extensive, while the itching would become more intense.
