Physical Exam
After knowing your signs, the doctor will do some physical exams to determine the exact causes of your overactive bladder. During a prostate or pelvic exam, he or she will check for any vaginal abnormalities. Also, this test would measure the strength of muscle groups in these areas and see whether these areas are in good condition. Another possible test is the neurological exam. It checks the sensory responses and reflexes to find out if your overactive bladder is caused by a neurological issue.
