Chest Physical Therapy
The main goal of chest physical therapy is to loosen thick mucus in your lungs, making it easier to cough up. Ideally, you need to do it 1 to 4 times on a daily basis. The most common method is to clap your cupped hands on the back and front of your chest. Other options include using a vibrating vest or a mechanical percussor. Several breathing techniques would also be done to help with it. Depending on your condition, your therapist will suggest a suitable form of chest physical therapy. [11]
