Chin Pimples – Causes, Treatment & Prevention

Preventing Chin Pimples

Here are some preventive tips you can use to manage chin pimples flare-up.

  • Washing your face twice a day is enough to keep facial hygiene and maintain the necessary sebum. Recommended timings to wash your face are in the morning and at night.
  • Some shampoo contains oil, and it can clog the pores if residue hasn’t been washed off totally. Therefore, keep the shampoo away from your jawlines and chin while washing hairs.
  • Choose mild skincare products with no acnegenic ingredients.
  • Stay in a good mood. Stress can disturb hormonal balance in our body and cause chin pimples.
  • Eating healthier to get rid of acne. Avoid high-glycemic foods like pasta, white bread, and white rice.
  • Change and wash your beddings regularly to lower the risk of skin exposure to bacteria, fungi, and dander.
  • Don’t touch your chin or jawline with your hands.

Remove hair on your chin gently to avoid ingrown hair.
