Warmth
When Achilles tendinitis occurs, the Achilles tendon can be inflamed. A typical response is an increase in body temperature to get rid of harmful bacteria and prevent a possible infection. Therefore, the skin area around the heel would be overly warm to the touch. The symptom will not resolve until you recover from the injury or wound that causes Achilles tendinitis. However, taking some anti-inflammatory drugs would help alleviate this issue. [5]
