Abnormal Spots
Any new spot which appears on the skin would possibly be a sign of skin cancer. While it can be hard to differentiate the different forms of skin cancer without the help of a microscope, but these tumors have some distinctive features. [10]
– Basal cells feature shiny spots which might be dome-shaped, raised, and flat. These are usually flesh-colored, pale, or pink.
– Squamous cells are usually raised and crusty to touch. Also, they can be scaly and ulcerated, meaning that they a central depression with flatter and lighter shapes than the surrounding parts. Sometimes, these cancers might form scabs, ooze, or bleed.
