Lower Back Pain
Pain in the lower back is also one of the symptoms of psoriatic arthritis. As this symptom can occur as a result of various lifestyles and diseases, so too can it be caused by psoriatic arthritis.
Not all psoriatic arthritis conditions affect the lower back; a particular type called spondylitis affects the spinal column and causes inflammation in the spinal vertebrae. The pain spreads from the spine to the lower back, causing stiffness and inability to stretch or move. Spondylitis does not only affect the spinal column, but it also affects the neck and the pelvic area. [10]
