Dry eyes, dry mouth
For those dealing with lupus, you may notice dry mouth. Also, the eyes may feel dry and gritty, too. This happens because people with this condition may develop other autoimmune disorder, Sjogren’s disease. This autoimmune disorder causes the glands producing saliva and tears to malfunction, and the glands being accumulated by lymphocytes. In some instances, women with Sjogren and lupus may notice skin and vagina dryness.
