10 Symptoms of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Night Sweats

Night sweats can be an early sign of cancer, such as liver cancer, bone cancer, lymphoma, leukemia, carcinoid tumors, and Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It is still unknown why these forms result in this symptom. This might occur because the body is attempting to fight cancer cells. Changes in hormone levels can be a possible cause as well. When the tumor causes a fever, the body might sweat excessively to cool it down. In other cases, cancer treatment like morphine or chemotherapy would also trigger this symptom. Night sweats tend to occur along with other issues, especially unexplained weight loss and fever.[3]
