Taking Birth Control Pills After an Overdose
If you have accidentally taken an extra birth control pill, continue taking the remaining pills as usual at the same time that you often take it per day. For instance, let’s say you often take a pill at 7 a.m. on a daily basis. If you take two pills on Wednesday, then just keep taking the next pill at 7 a.m. on Thursday as usual. For the missing pill, just replace it with another one from the other packet. Avoid missing a pill as it may reduce the effectiveness and make you at a higher risk of pregnancy. [8]
