Box Jump
With box jumps, you can improve strength in the lower body. The exercise can work out the core muscles, hips, calves, and quads. You need to start with a standing position from a stable surface. Both feet should be shoulder-wide apart. Next, bend both knees and drop both arms behind the body to be in a quarter squat. Swing the arms forward powerfully and extend the hips to jump to the box. Slightly bend the knees to land and jump down. Repeat 5 times. If you are a beginner, make sure to choose a surface with a suitable height to reduce the risk of injury. [6]
