Avoid Triggers
In people with Dravet syndrome, it is very important to find out what trigger a seizure and take preventive measures to avoid them. Possible triggers of this condition may include visual patterns, flickering lights, stress, overexcitement, other medical conditions, as well as sudden changes in the body temperature or overheating caused by warm baths, exercises, or fever. Talk with your doctor if possible to develop effective strategies to manage or avoid these triggers. In many cases, it is good to use a seizure detection tool or a baby monitor to look for signs of seizures in children at night. Also, some parents may share a room with their kids. [9]
