Increased generation of uric acid in the body can also result in a higher risk of gout. In many cases, the underlying cause of raised levels is still unknown due to its complexity. Sometimes, it could be caused by the abnormalities of enzyme and often occur in conditions like psoriasis, hemolytic anemia, leukemia, and lymphoma.
